1. Don't abruptly stop anything you are doing now,
expecting an overnight miracle (even though this does happen, it's not
common).
2. These nutritional supplements can safely be taken along
with your current prescription medications. Continue taking them until you
begin to see improvement. Then, consider making the decision to lower
the prescription medications gradually until you get to (hopefully) none.
3. Take REGULARLY, (A Key To
Success). Everybody's brain chemistry is different, so think of
time as relative. Most see noticeable results within 7-10 days, some
take longer, some less. Continued improvement is reported as much as a
year (and more) into therapy.
4. Taking on an EMPTY STOMACH
enables a much greater portions to pass into the blood stream, and therefore
the brain. Taken with food, their effectiveness can drop 60% or more!
Take them 15 minutes before, or Two Hours after, eating. (Another Key To
Success).
5. If your child cannot, or will not, take the capsules,
they can be emptied into a small amount of applesauce, gelatin, fresh juice,
etc.
beCALM'd™ Dosages
As you may know, the F.D.A. has
never established Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) for amino acids and many
other common nutrition factors. And, until a very recently passed bill, often
called the Health Education Act, only FDA approved
drugs could have recommended dosages published. With the passage of this bill
we are able to pass on to you the dosages recommended by many of the
clinicians whose patients or clients have been advised to take beCALM'd.
In all cases the product should
be taken on an empty stomach -- half an hour or more before meals or two or
more hours after meals. The quantities below are for adults. Children should
take proportionately less.
General Stress Conditions:
3 to 6 capsules a day depending
on the stress level expected or being experienced. Taking more than 6 is
generally wasteful, but has never been reported as harmful.
Most clinicians report they
recommend two in the morning before breakfast, and two half an hour before bed
time (at least two hours after the evening meal). On higher stress days two
more might be taken mid afternoon. On lower stress days only one or two on
arising.
Adults with Post Traumatic
Stress Syndromes should start at 12 per day (4, 3 times a day) for the first
month, reduce down to the 6 per day levels for the next month or two, and then
follow the dosages recommended in the above paragraph.
Attention Deficit
Conditions:
1/2 to 6 capsules per day
depending on the age and weight of the individual. The times the capsules
should be taken are 30 minutes before breakfast, mid-afternoon, and 30 minutes
before bedtime (at least two hours after the evening meal).
Each person's metabolic rate
varies just as eye color varies from little pigment (light blue) to fully
pigmented (dark brown). Similarly, one person with ADD/HD may need only half a
capsule in the morning and the other half at night. Another may require two
capsules at each of the three times mentioned above.
A recommended daily starting
point is 1/2 capsule for a four year old to 6 for sixteen years or older. If
this dosage is sufficient (e.g. works as well as, for instance, Ritalin,
within three days), reduce the dosage a little until the results begin to
diminish. Then go back to the lowest that worked well. Conversely if the
results are good, but not sufficient, gradually increase the dosage. Taking
more than 6 is generally wasteful bit has never been reported as harmful.
Recovery From Addictive

A Synergistic Mix
The ingredients are precisely put together
in these exact amounts to get a synergistic effect in the brain. In other
words, all of the ingredients, used by themselves, would have a positive
effect in certain specific areas of the brain. Used together, in these
amounts, increases the positive effects in the brain by as much as 133 fold.
Numerous test have been tried with each
ingredient separately and what was found was that it was not physically or
economically feasible to take the ingredients individually. One test was done
in Russia over 20 years ago. They felt like L-Phenylalanine could stop the
Stress cycle but a person would have to take 2 kilograms (five pounds) of it
every day, at the cost of $250 per kilogram.
